Hotel owner was killed; employees are the usual suspects

GOSHEN, Ind. (want to)-Central Indiana hotel owner that helps homeless man back on their feet were shot dead this week, and one of the men that he helped is suspect.

24-Hour News 8 partner Anderson Herald Bulletin News report "Ken" family Kiran Patel, 51, who owned motels including one at Anderson and one in Kokomo, Indiana called the police in the northern town of Goshen on Thursday when they can't find it.

Patel also owned and worked to renovate Goshen Inn and Conference Center, which has been closed for a while, 24-hour News 8 partner WSBT News reports.

"Ken is doing its best to make a better place," said Jim Aswegan, a contractor hired by the company, Patel to use the pool at the Inn.

But things do not add to Aswegan, Patel's employees or his wife Thursday.
