Backpacker fire death still a mystery

Researchers are still working to determine the cause of the fire that killed a young backpacker Ireland near New Norcia.

A Farmhand, aged in their 20s, are in the common room accommodation unit plant when Mackie Hay fire broke out about 4 8.30 a.m. on Saturday. The fire caused the roof to collapse.

Another 20 workers were asleep in the dorm when the fire started but were evacuated.

Police said no one else was injured in the blaze, which was attended by the Volunteer Firefighters of Wongan hills.

It is believed the gas explosion triggered a fire, which may cause damage to $ 150,000 of the building.
